The Wajir Peace and Development Agency (WPDA) is a non-governmental organization committed to promoting sustainable peace and development in Wajir County. We work towards building a peaceful and self-reliant community by partnering and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure good governance, advocacy and community empowerment. Our approach to peacebuilding is consultative, inclusive and decisive, with a strong emphasis on community-government collaboration and attitudinal change.

 We also provide rapid response to conflicts, revive the justice system, rehabilitate ex-combatants, and develop action plans for county-level peacebuilding initiatives. Our work is underpinned by a set of core values that guide our interactions and drive us towards achieving our mission.
